Art by the Slice was started in 2009 by Leann Mulligan. A music teacher by day, she began experimenting with cakes for friends in the Birmingham area early in 2009. Word of (satisfied) mouth recommendations quickly started bringing orders in from around town. Through the encouragement of her friends and family she decided to see where her love of baking delicious cakes might lead. Art by the Slice was born.

Our goal is to create cakes which complement the style and personality of you, our customer. We custom design a unique cake for your specific celebration.

Our motto is, “If you can imagine it, we can make it.”
